HideAway™ Series In-Wall Security Camera System

The HideAway™ series IWC™ In-Wall Camera System is the ideal choice for an affordable solution to doorway and access point security over category5 twisted pair wires. The high performance 1/3” CCD camera along with associated drive electronics are installed in a single junction box with an RJ45 connector.

The video signal from the camera travels down category 3 or 5 wires to the receiver unit, which can be plugged into a video monitor and a time-lapse VCR. The power for the camera is conveniently provided on the same category 5 wire so that local power for the camera is not needed at the remote end.

There are a number of optional features available for the IWC™ In-Wall Camera System. Options include a pin-hole lens for covert applications, fisheye lens for wide-angle, C/CS mount adaptor for a variety of standard lenses, a starlight/night vision camera (0.05 lux), high-resolution color camera, weather-proof single gang enclosure and a tamper-resistant steel faceplate.

The unit shall measure 2.4”W x 1.6” H x 1” D and weigh 12 oz. It shall fit in a single gang. Its sensor type shall be 1/3” B/W CCD and have a sensitivity of 0.1 lux. Its resolution shall be 510 x 492 pixels. It shall have auto electronic iris / electronic shutter automated level control. It shall reach distances of 400 ft. It shall be powered by 12 V DC. It shall have the options of pin-hole lens for covert applications, a fisheye lens for wide-angle, C/CS mount adaptor for a variety of standard lenses, a starlight/night vision camera (0.05 lux), a high-resolution color camera, a weather-proof single gang enclosure, and a tamper-resistant steel faceplate.
