There is no ripple in the pass band and very low change in distortion versus out power levels (usually between 0.01 and 0.05%). A Pragmatic amplifier maintains very low and uniform distortion on all frequencies and very high signal-to-noise ratio and dynamic range.
Pragmatic’s Environmentally Conscious 12-Channel Audiophile Quality Amplifier
Santa Clara, CA - August 8, 2007 – Pragmatic Communication Systems, Inc. has always made it its mission to introduce energy efficient and compact products into the market. There is no better example of that philosophy than the MCA-1248, a 12-channel audiophile quality amplifier. The MCA-1248 multi-channel amplifier produces a big, luxurious sound yet is so efficient that it doesn’t require a heat sink or a ventilating fan. The small yet powerful package delivers a true high fidelity performance that surpasses the quality of amplifiers ten times its size and weight. At only ten pounds and a two-rack unit height, it is by far the most compact and efficient amplifier in its class.
In fact, MCA-1248’s biggest competitor weighs in at a whopping 72 pounds. Its staggering weight is due, in part, because it loses large amounts of energy to heat. In order to contain the heat, the amplifier must have more aluminum in its heat sink. In addition, it also contains more copper, sheet metal and iron. So not only will the competitor’s amplifier cost you more on energy bills, but you will also squander money away in its hardware.
The robust design of the MCA-1248 provides extremely clean, state-of-the-art power. It produces unexpected sound depth and musical clarity. The unit accepts any volume controlled line level input and uses a quiet and efficient 110 V AC power supply. It also features advanced protection circuitry guards against system damage from overload, overheating or short circuits. There are a number of applications for the MCA-1248. It is ideal for multi-room audio, bi-amplified speakers and home theater systems. It can power six rooms with ease and produces a signal-to-noise ratio and dynamic range of greater than 100 dB. It maintains continuous power of 48 watts per channel with peak power of 90 watts per channel.
Pragmatic offers high quality digital amplifiers that possess numerous advantages over other options in the market. A Pragmatic amplifier boasts high efficiency and clock frequency. It also has very linear gain and phase characteristics with a flat frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. There is no ripple in the pass band and very low change in distortion versus out power levels (usually between 0.01 and 0.05%). It maintains very low and uniform distortion on all frequencies and very high signal-to-noise ratio and dynamic range.
Pragmatic Launches Innovative Product For Control Applications
Santa Clara, CA - July 24, 2007 – Pragmatic Communication Systems, Inc., an industry innovator in wired and wireless systems since 1994, recently announced its newest product: Control 9™, an Octal Serial Port Hub for industrial and residential control applications. Control 9™ provides eight downstream asynchronous serial ports from one upstream USB Host Port, or one upstream serial Port. Pragmatic Brings an Efficient Music Server into the Audio Market Hard disk comes with 80 GB standard but can be customized to 400 GB or more
Santa Clara, CA - August 14, 2007 – Pragmatic Communication Systems, Inc., an industry innovator in wired and wireless systems since 1994, recently announced another of its successes: the MuSe™ multi-channel digital music server.
Pragmatic’s MuSe™ is a high performance hard disk-based music server for professional, commercial, industrial, and high-end residential applications. The unit is housed in a high quality 4 rack unit, industrial 19” rack mountable chassis with a locking security cover.
MuSe™ comes pre-configured to serve up to four channels of stereo music simultaneously. The music files can be accessed from a multitude of different mediums including the internal hard disc, DVD Rom, USB drives and any other drives on the network including any NAS. Each channel has multiple playlists that can be scheduled to play at any time. The playlists individually support up to 5000 songs and feature built-in random selection to prevent sequential and repetitive play. MuSe™ also generates a log file of all the songs played including time and titles. The hard disk comes with 80 GB standard but can be customized to 400 GB and beyond.
The system is designed for 24/7 total autonomous operations, which eliminates the need for a supporting keyboard, mouse or video display. Music can be loaded to the system’s hard drives via USB, DVD disc or Ethernet connection. Easy interface to Pragmatic’s PADS™ products allows for music distribution in commercial environments on economical category 5 cables. MuSe™ is the ideal music server for hotels, restaurants, theme parks, fitness clubs, museums, shopping malls, department stores, as well as numerous other applications.
